Why not say, as some slanderously claim that we say, “Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is deserved!
What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase?
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Certainly not!
The law came in so that the trespass would increase; but where sin increased, grace increased all the more,
What then shall we say? Is the law sin? Certainly not! Indeed, I would not have been mindful of sin if not for the law.
For certain men have crept in among you unnoticed—ungodly ones who were designated long ago for condemnation. They turn
keeping a clear conscience, so that those who slander you may be put to shame by your good behavior in Christ.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.
