They did not understand that He was telling them about the Father.
And He replied: “Go and tell this people, ‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceivin
Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you are unable to accept My message.
Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”
Listen, you deaf ones; look, you blind ones, that you may see!
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
Like the blind, we feel our way along the wall, groping like those without eyes. We stumble at midday as in the twilight
What then? What Israel was seeking, it failed to obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened,
