What is man that You should exalt him, that You should set Your heart upon him,
But somewhere it is testified in these words: “What is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You care
what is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You care for him?
O LORD, what is man, that You regard him, the son of man that You think of him?
If He were to set His heart to it and withdraw His Spirit and breath,
Am I the sea, or the monster of the deep, that You must keep me under guard?
Against whom has the king of Israel come out? Whom are you pursuing? A dead dog? A flea?
